In a good restaurant, you can get good dishes, but the offer about wine by the glass is often limited, and bottle prices are most of the time crippling. In a good wine bar, you can get plenty of nice wines, but the offer about food is often limited.
Le Jardin du Sommelier reconciles those two worlds. Food is meant to be simple, tasty and generous, with classic Belgian dishes and a few seasonnal dishes. And it’s home made. Over 20 wines are offered by the glass, and bottles are sold at a bottle shop price, with a cork fee if consumed on the spot.
I have made this restaurant because this is the kind of place I would like to go to.
